Before Kindergarten begins, we hold individual interviews with the students and their parents. This resource is a way to interact with and interview the child a bit during the course of sharing a lot of information with the parents. Favorite things include favorite cookie, candy, movie, color, shape, and book. I added the question about holidays at the bottom because I live in a very diverse area, and it's important for me to know what students do or do not celebrate! Directions for use of t

Use this to guide grown ups through working with their child on the Saxon Decodable Reader. I suggest using a week or two to practice in class too before sending this home for the kids to complete with their grown ups. You can edit the Bitmojis if you'd like, and also add your own choice board activities in the boxes on page 2.
