My Favorite Things - Kindergarten Interview
Before Kindergarten begins, we hold individual interviews with the students and their parents. This resource is a way to interact with and interview the child a bit during the course of sharing a lot of information with the parents. Favorite things include favorite cookie, candy, movie, color, shape, and book. Experience
This will be my 12th year teaching for the School District of Philadelphia (North Philly area). I am teaching Kindergarten! I have found so many useful resources on here so I thought I'd start adding some of my own that I have created!
Teaching style
I am energetic, enthusiastic, positive, and compassionate! I set high expectations for my students and see to it that I give everything I have to help them to succeed!
My own education history
I went to Slippery Rock University, where I double majored and received degrees in Dance and Elementary Education. I attended Cabrini College for my Masters in Education with a focus on reading specialist.
Additional biographical information
I grew up in central PA, but now I live and teach in Philly! My husband is also a teacher in Philly. We have a 2 year old son :)
