This "Name Game" covers letters, sounds, syllables, and then also has teacher notes within the slide that give other tips for using this as a whole class. I use this daily while teaching from home, but wanted a digital version too so I created this resource. Tip: Use this as a class first so that the kids can get familiar with it, and then assign to each child on google classroom.

Experience

This will be my 12th year teaching for the School District of Philadelphia (North Philly area). I am teaching Kindergarten! I have found so many useful resources on here so I thought I'd start adding some of my own that I have created!

Teaching style

I am energetic, enthusiastic, positive, and compassionate! I set high expectations for my students and see to it that I give everything I have to help them to succeed!

My own education history

I went to Slippery Rock University, where I double majored and received degrees in Dance and Elementary Education. I attended Cabrini College for my Masters in Education with a focus on reading specialist.

Additional biographical information

I grew up in central PA, but now I live and teach in Philly! My husband is also a teacher in Philly. We have a 2 year old son :)
