Ditch the powerpoint presentation. Let students take ownership of their learning with learning stations! There are 8 stations and an answer document. Students should write a BRIEF definition in their own words and answer the questions that follow. For this skill it is important to remember that recalling what a simile is, is not good enough. They need to tell you what the author was doing when he wrote the simile. Enjoy!
