Elementary Math Love

Here are 12 task cards that contain RIGOROUS area and perimeter word problems. Also included is a matching student-answer sheet as well as an teacher answer key. You can have these set up at a center or "Early Finisher" folder. I use them as my class works in partners. This is a set of 12 task cards that contain long division problems with 2-digit divisors. Some answers have remainders and some do not. My kids needed all the extra help they could get practicing with this skill, so we did some practice with these. It also includes student work/answer pages and a teacher answer document. With this product students can practice standard 1.3A- using  pictorial models to determine the sum of a multiple of ten and a one‐digit number in  problems up to 99. With this product students will match a word problem with the pictorial model, solution and number sentence. This can be used as a whole class match up, collaborative activity or center.

This product is great for kinder or first graders. It is a great warm up or journal activity that you can do daily. This one warm up activity covers TEKS: 1.2C, 1.2D, 1.5C, K.2I, K.2B K.2F. Students look at a given number of your choice, practice writing it in different forms, decompose it, and add to and take away from it.

You can use these to save time instead of writing them out daily. Laminate them and use them year after year. You can change your printer settings to print many per page and have kids cut them out and glue them in their journals to help them focus on what they are responsible for learning each day.
