About the store
I am a newer teacher, now beginning my 3rd year of teaching. Along with two other EL teachers I work with approximately 130 marvellous English learners grades 1-4 through sheltered and co-taught science and social studies lessons, as well as basic newcomer English vocabulary instruction. I also work 1-on-1 with EL students with significant special education needs in our self-contained DCD and ASD classrooms.

Experience

I am a newer teacher, now beginning my 3rd year of teaching. Along with two other EL teachers I work with approximately 130 marvellous English learners grades 1-4 through sheltered and co-taught science and social studies lessons, as well as basic newcomer English vocabulary instruction. I also work 1-on-1 with EL students with significant special education needs in our self-contained DCD and ASD classrooms.

Teaching style

Hands on, interactive, student driven, flexible, and chatty. I do not run a quiet teacher talk classroom!

Graduated from Bethel University with a BA in K-12 TESL Education in 2012.
