About the store
I am a newer teacher, now beginning my 3rd year of teaching. Along with two other EL teachers I work with approximately 130 marvellous English learners grades 1-4 through sheltered and co-taught science and social studies lessons, as well as basic newcomer English vocabulary instruction. I also work 1-on-1 with EL students with significant special education needs in our self-contained DCD and ASD classrooms.

Interactive Sight Word Journal Pages
These interactive sight word journal pages are based on sight words that I picked out for my lowest readers to match my second grade EL curriculum but can easily be used in any classroom.
Each page includes a section to trace the sight word, lines to copy the sight word, a section to color in the sight word, a word search box to circle the correct sight word, boxes to build the sight word in with cut out letters, and a write your own sentence line with small illustration box.

Teaching style
Hands on, interactive, student driven, flexible, and chatty. I do not run a quiet teacher talk classroom!

Graduated from Bethel University with a BA in K-12 TESL Education in 2012.
