This is a maths investigation based on fractions in a sweet store context. It is challenging for the students, fun, and allows creativity! Answers are included! I used this as an assessment piece after teaching a fractions unit with Grade 7 (12 year olds). The students worked on this investigation independently and were allowed 3 weeks to complete it.
