Teaching style

My teaching style is rooted in structured, scaffolded learning designed to support adult learners in accelerated environments. I have experience creating and teaching lessons within 3-hour class blocks, where pacing, clarity, and engagement are essential. My lessons integrate speaking, listening, reading, and writing through interactive, real-life activities that encourage active participation and build practical communication skills. I focus on helping learners gain confidence in everyday situations by making language both accessible and meaningful. In addition, my memory care activities prioritize creative, strengths-based activities that engage both the intellect and the senses- supporting cognitive stimulation while honoring each individual’s abilities. Through this approach, I strive to create learning environments where all individuals feel engaged, capable, and valued
