About the store
I have been teaching for 11 years. I began my teaching career teaching at American International Schools in Venezuela and Colombia. I lived in South America for 4 years. Afterwards, I moved back to New York. For my first two years in New York I taught 1st garde in a charter school in a low-income area of Brooklyn. I am now currently teaching at the elementary school that I attended as a kid out on Long Island!
I have my undergrad degree in childhood education and ENL. I also have a minor in, and speak, Spanish. My master's degree is in literacy education (b-6). I am certified in NY for early childhood, childhood, literacy and ENL. I am also in a building and district administration program to get my sbl/sdl license.

Kindergarten Christmas Break Packet
This is a packet of language arts and math worksheets for kindergarteners to take home over the holidays to practice what has been covered in the beginning half of the year. It also includes a short emergent reader about winter. All pages are black and white with images that children can color.
It can also be used in class to aid in covering or assessing a variety of basic Kindergarten requirements.

This product is full of different interactive notebook activities related to counting coins on a very basic level. It is meant to be used with a kindergarten class who is just beginning to recognize the different types of coins and their values. There are no activities that involve counting mixes of coins such as what is the value of 2 nickels and 2 quarters. There are sorting activities, and activities that ask the value of 2 nickels and 2 quarters separately.

This is a 30 page document that contains worksheets to practice base10 (up to 3 digits) and expanded form (up to 3 digits) There are 10 worksheets for each topic. There is also a short quiz included on each. Finally, there is a review sheet and two test versions (in case a student needs to make up the test) that include all information about base 10 and expanded form practiced in the worksheets.

Simple Christmas Addition/Subtraction
This is a short packet made for kindergarteners to practice basic addition and subtraction. All equations involve numbers 5 and under. There are both number sentences and story problems so students can practice in a variety of ways. The graphics are black and white so that children can do some fun Christmas coloring after they practice their math.
