About the store

I have taught Technology Education for 17 years and have owned a STEM Day Camp - Engineering Explorations for 8 years. I have authored multiple published articles on STEM/Technology Education (“DECIDER Design Process” article published in the International Technology and Engineering Teacher Journal, 2016 “Classroom Management: Back to Basics” article published in NJEA Review and The Education Digest, 2010).

STEM Dynamite DC Motor Challenge

This the first Mission as part of the Robotics: Fabrication and Programming Course Curriculum. DC Motors are everywhere, and students take for granted their importance. Inside those DC motors are electromagnets which are vital for the proper function of the DC motors. This mission is a great beginning project for any level of electricity or electronics course. There are a good deal of activities within the mission content preparation but none more important than the electrical safety lessons
