This is an interactive notebook activity that I use with my students when learning about the properties of rocks. This is a very basic activity and is designed for students in k-3. To complete the activity, cut the outside edge of both pages, eliminating the extra paper. Glue page 2 to the notebook. If you are anything like me, you know it is so hard to remember who went to the bathroom, who is at the nurse etc. I made this to help me keep my sanity and be more on top of where my students are (especially in an emergency). Each student has a magnet with their name on it and each time they leave the room, they move their magnet under their destination. When they return, they simply move their magnet back to "in class".
