It gives students an excellent opportunity to practice decimals to the thousandths place as well as to apply their decimal skills to finding sales tax. Teaching style
Students learn by doing.
I believe in vibrant, engaging, and colorful worksheets, but I also believe in students working together on projects and activities that allow them to experience the content for themselves.
For example, most of my graphing, measurement, and science worksheets offer a chance for students to engage with the content instead of just sitting at their desks and practicing.
