"Fair winds and following seas" is a blessing that has evolved over time, a way to wish others peace as they part and safety until they return.
Hi, we're Andrew and Petra Kooman, we're life-long learners with a track record of helping people to grow in their faith, creativity, communication skills, and in pursuit of justice and equality.
We've worked for a billion dollar brand, non-profits, the post-secondary world and in the worlds of justice and arts. We have lots of experience bringing ideas and content to life. Our aim is to help people thrive in their learning journeys, wherever it may take them.
Our learning journey has taken us around the world into cross-cultural spaces to train learners of all kinds: in formal education settings, church and ministry settings, in the non-profit world, as well as in the entertainment industry.
We're figuring out our TPT journey as we grow, and are starting by bringing our learnings from the award-winning work we've done on the stage and screen. So, for now, you'll see a lot of theatre and language arts content.

My own education history
Petra wins the prize for letters behind her name. She grew up on a dairy farm and brings that work ethic into her learning. She has a BA in English and MA in Political Science from Western, a MA in Communications from Johns Hopkins, and is pursuing a MBA from the University of Illinois.
Andrew holds a BA in English from the University of Calgary and a MA in English Literature and Transitional Justice from Western University. He also has a Diploma in Biblical Studies from the University of the Nations.
