A ten frame is provided to help students solve addition number sentences. It is suggested, students use one color to represent one addend, and a different color to represent the other addend. You may choose to have students color the boxes, or to change it up, have students paint counters inside the boxes using a Q-tip and tempera paint. The equations on Side B have the same sum. This is intended to show students you can have different addends for the same sum. It is intended you copy side

This printable small book will help students represent numbers 11 to 20 using a ten-frame. You will have to make 9 copies of the inside page for numbers 11 to 19. The end page is number 20. Students will represent each number by stamping dots inside the ten frame. Students (or adult helper) record how long it takes them to read the sight words. The goal is for them to improve their time, and to build automatic recall. I have included some CVC words with each list. I have separated the 50 most frequently used sight words into ten lists of five words. I send these worksheets home for extra reading practice. Also, students are invited to use some of the words in sentences. Word List: I, see, a, my, like, an, to, is, it, in, go, at, and, for, we, play,

This is a set of 11 cards to help students represent numbers in terms of base 10. The cards begin with counting objects and increase in level of difficulty. By the end, students should understand that 18 is 10 + 8. You may wish to copy pages on card stock and place inside a plastic sheet protector. Students can use a dry erase marker and work at their own pace to complete the series. Students having difficulty could easily repeat the same card. If you like my work, please rate it. Thank you.
