First Steps

A ten frame is provided to help students solve addition number sentences. It is suggested, students use one color to represent one addend, and a different color to represent the other addend. You may choose to have students color the boxes, or to change it up, have students paint counters inside the boxes using a Q-tip and tempera paint. The equations on Side B have the same sum.
