When teaching double-digit multiplication, I teach it by layers. I came up with these steps and visual to help my students see each layer, along with the steps. Simply print, laminate and give to students. I always find visuals help aid in the success of my students.
These visual communication cards are great for students who speak little to no English. They allow teachers and students to communicate quickly by using pictures, if needed. I designed these with the word in both in English and Spanish, so while the English learner is still able to understand what the card says, they are also able to learn English in the process. This product can be used as a tool to help with a persuasive writing unit. It's a piggy back off of the regular O.R.E.O. Which is Opinion, Reason, Example, Opinion. The double stuffed oreo has an extra reason and example so that students can dig a little deeper to share/build a strong foundation for their writing. There is also a space at the top for a prompt, so you can either give students a topic to write about, or they can choose their own!

This translated CUBA strategy is perfect if you have an English learner. It allows the students to become familiar with the steps in Spanish first, so the student will then be able to learn the steps in English. I print, laminate and tape them to student desks.
This product is great to use as a quick reminder of when your class party will be, and what parents are signing up to bring. Under the reminder, you're able to change the date of the party if needed, font, etc. I like to print them off in orange paper to add a bit more of the Halloween vibe!
This CUBES strategy is a perfect tool for students to have available to them while they're working to remember the steps. For my students I print, cut and laminate then tape them to their desks.
