Double-Digit Multiplication Visual Steps
When teaching double-digit multiplication, I teach it by layers. I came up with these steps and visual to help my students see each layer, along with the steps. Simply print, laminate and give to students. I always find visuals help aid in the success of my students.

CUBA Student Visual Tool - Spanish Translation
This translated CUBA strategy is perfect if you have an English learner. It allows the students to become familiar with the steps in Spanish first, so the student will then be able to learn the steps in English. I print, laminate and tape them to student desks.

Teaching style
I'm typically a hands on teacher, I don't like to sit at a desk. I like to be up and moving around with my students, in order to create a learning environment that is safe and fun!
