About the store
<p> The Foxtrot Thinking Team consists of an experienced Teacher and a passionate Mathematician aiming to engage students in Mathematics &amp; Statistics through hands-on activities. <br /><br /> We strive to assist students in being able to see the connection from numerical and problem-solving skills to real world scenarios. <br /><br /> Our activities highlight the Mathematical Sciences within everyones lives. We want students to recognise that Mathematics is exciting, fascinating and everywhere! <br /><br /> Our Teacher, Hayley, has been teaching for 6 years, and focusses on Upper Primary students. Graduating with a Bachelors in Education, Hayley began her career as a casual relief teacher, gaining an insight to every primary school year group. For the last 4 and a half years, Hayley has been working with Upper Primary school students, determined to enhance their interest and abilities in Mathematics. <br /><br /> Our Mathematician, Sam, has always been interested and inspired by mathematical concepts since an early age. After graduating with a Masters degree in mathematics, Sam continued at university to study for his PhD in Geometric Topology. Sam continually engages in Outreach activities within his academic career, sharing his passion for mathematics to inspire the next generation of students. </p>
