About the Founders
Frisson Learning Systems was founded by two professionals with backgrounds in education, psychology, and social work who share a passion for helping students learn more effectively and achieve lasting academic success.
Combined experience includes classroom instruction, mental health services, curriculum development, student intervention, and gifted education. Academic preparation includes studies in Psychology, Criminal Justice, Sociology, and Social Work, along with certifications in secondary education and Gifted Education.
Over the years, this interdisciplinary background has provided opportunities to work with diverse learners across educational and clinical settings. These experiences have shaped a philosophy that meaningful learning occurs when evidence-based instructional practices are paired with engagement, curiosity, and real-world application.
The resources offered through Frisson Learning Systems are designed to bridge the gap between educational research and classroom practice. Drawing from cognitive science, retrieval practice, executive functioning, and effective instructional design, each resource is created to support long-term retention, critical thinking, and student success.
Whether supporting Advanced Placement® students, classroom teachers, homeschool families, or independent learners, the mission remains the same: to create high-quality learning systems that help learners build confidence, deepen understanding, and achieve their academic goals.
