College Shoebox Project Area & Perimeter
This item includes directions, a calculations page, and a rubric. The students are tasked to create a shoebox of their future dorm room. The students must measure the items and then find the area. The project can be modified to have the students convert the measurements.

Teaching style
I strive to give my students a way to artistically express themselves through geometry. I utilize project based learning as well as conventional guided notes and tests. I use technology in the classroom through the schoology.com platform as a way to be an efficient and responsive teacher to both parents and students.
