This is a brief description of how to play the dreidel game. This game can be used as a math center to teach regrouping, base 10, halves, order of operations, cause & effect, different cultures, and games from around the world. It is a fun introduction to Hanukkah while not involving any of the religious significance. The dreidel game can be easily differentiated to accommodate the highest learners, as well as those struggling with certain math concepts.

Teaching style
My class is based in collaborative learning, structured on the Kagan style. We use multiple centers, small groups, manipulatives, and a focus on multiple intelligence to gain a higher depth of knowledge for all subject areas. Worksheets are a 4 letter word in our classroom! My students think, explain, respond, and discuss both in person and online to show a deep understanding of the standards, but still tailored to their ability and instructional level.
