Experience

Art-integrated SEL tools that help students explore feelings through movement and creativity.

Teaching style

At hARTspace Studio, my teaching style blends visual art, movement, and cultural exploration to create engaging, hands-on learning experiences. I believe art is a language for self-discovery and connection, and my lessons invite students to think, move, and create with intention. Each resource emphasizes embodied learning, collaboration, and creative expression across disciplines—helping teachers inspire curiosity and confidence in every learner.

Awards & shining teacher moments

My favorite teaching moments happen when students realize they can express ideas through both movement and art—when a single gesture becomes a line on paper or a story in color. Watching students connect with themselves and each other through creativity continually reminds me why I teach. hARTspace Studio grew from my passion for making art education joyful, inclusive, and deeply meaningful for every child.

My own education history

I hold a Master of Arts in Teaching Fine Arts from the University of Utah and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the same institution. My academic and professional background combine developmental understanding with arts-based pedagogy, forming the foundation for my holistic and inclusive approach to art education.

Additional biographical information

I’m an art educator, interdisciplinary artist, and advocate for creativity as a tool for self-expression and community building. My resources are designed to help teachers weave movement, visual art, and cultural awareness into the classroom with ease. When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me painting, dancing, or exploring how art connects people across cultures and experiences.
