I was homeschooled up until my Sophomore year of high school. During my years being homeschooled, I tested very well, and had average grades for a girl only interested in art. I lived abroad through much of my homeschooling, and because of that vast access to travel and other cultures, I believe I learned far more than my peers.
In my Sophomore year, I went to a DoDEA school. Halfway through my Junior year, we moved again, and I went to a public school, where I graduated. Because of this experience, I became highly aware of different teaching styles, and saw first hand how children were left behind. I went to community college for Design, where I excelled, but didn't finish. Instead, I married, and started a new journey.
