Experience
I have taught family classes at a large botanic garden. I taught for 5 years in an elementary classroom, but left to stay home and homeschool my children. I also do private tutoring to students of all ages, but primarily elementary.
Teaching style
My teaching style is having a priority in knowing my students, so I can motivate them to learn and be filled with wonder. There are many factors that influence educational achievement for students, yet I strongly feel that motivation and a child’s belief in their own abilities are possibly the most significant in determining if a student is willing to learn.

I was nominated for a school district's "Teacher Who Makes a Difference Award" in 2012.

I have a bachelor degree in Elementary Education and a Master's degree in Reading for Education.
