High School Math Store

This project is for a Geometry class and it covers the Pythagorean Theorem. It has students come up with real life situations that involve the theorem. It has 8 different activities that involve the theorem. One of the activities has the students research and explain how the Pythagorean Theorem is proved in a proof. This project is an excellent way to reinforce the concepts of the Pythagorean Theorem.

This project is designed for students in an Algebra 1 class. It is a book that the students create to examine a discuss all the aspects of graphing lines. They have to incorporate how to solve for slope, the difference between parallel and perpendicular lines, the 3 different equations of lines, rise over run and much more. This is a great project for students to master how to graph a line and for understanding what a slope is.
