I've taught the subject areas of American history, global history, modern history, news and journalism, computer education, and literacy in middle school and high school settings. Teaching style
Using primary sources and REAL information is a passion of mine in history education. I believe it's important for students to develop their literacy skills and academic rigor with engaging activities.
My own education history
Bachelor degree in History Education (7-12) from St. John's University. Masters degree in Literacy Education (5-12) from Dowling College.
