Students will ready the problem and solve it by showing their work. Once they are done they can color it. This can be a great display of student work for the FALL.. Each leaf has a different word problem. Single digit up to 2 digit addition and subtraction without regrouping.

Students will add and subtract the facts. Then they will decide if the answer is either ODD or EVEN. I also took it a step further and told the kids to draw the base ten blocks of the answer. You will be hitting 4 concepts :add, subtract, odd/even, and base ten. Students color it afterward and it can be a great display of students work for the fall. Each page has different problems.
