For those students that are struggling with subtraction facts up to 20 they can use the ten frame model to subtract. This is for those students that need to see it.

For students still struggling with basic facts up to 10. My students were struggling with basic facts such as 4+2 so I decided to create these paper size flash cards that I can use every morning for 5-10 minutes (and kids can use at centers). They are great because kids can see it at a distance. All you have to do is print, put on construction paper so it can stand out and laminate for every day use.

Math vocabulary terms that can be used for a word wall, create games, bingo cards, etc... This set includes 125 terms including standard form, word form, expanded form, shapes, addition, time, subtractions, graphs, compare and order, temperature, money place value, etc.....over 100 terms with pictures

I did this for my second graders because they were still getting stuck on subtraction basic fact up to 10. So I printed them out and glued them to construction paper and laminated them. I was able to stand in the front of the classroom and for 5-10 minutes flash the cards.

This is 60 vocabulary word wall cards with definition. I use thses word cards I use for my word wall. I also print 6 to a page for the students to put in their journal as a reference. I use this words on my science word wall in my bilingual classroom. These have helped the students in learning their science words in an easier way because they can picture it...Words included are force, push, pull, slide, roll, cooling, freeze, evaporation, magnet, magnetic force, poles, attract, repel, bar magnet, horshoe magnet, ring magnet, solid, liquid, gas, mass, attribute, physical property, cutting, folding, texture, senses, science tools, matter, atoms, light energy, sound energy, etc

Students will add or subtract a given 2 digit number. Students will then have to write the response 3 different ways using words, base ten blocks, and the fact family. Once they are done the students color it and you can use it as a student work decoration for your bulletin board. Great for fall or Halloween time!

This is a review I always do to send out during christmas vacations. This is so they wont forget what they learned the first semester. It has place value, money, number line, pictographs, add/subtract, compare/order, odd/even and much more concepts from 2nd grade.

This is a set of 5 different foldables that I made for my students to put in their journals. I create this for my bulletin board outside..The students solve the problems and show their work then they color it and you can display outside in your bulletin board. The students liked it because of the fact they got to color it afterwards. You can do this in small group or as a class. Each problem on each turkey is different so your better option would be to do it in small group. Math Problems include, time, money, place value, addition, subtraction, temperature, etc.

This template i use it to practice with my 2nd graders. They have to give me the word sentence, the repeated addition sentence, the picture/array model, the fact family, and the skip counting for the multiplication fact given. After doing so many of these the students are able not only to do multiplicaition but the've memorized the skip counting. This is a great tool because practice makes perfect.
