Experience

I am in my 7th year in a Junior High Science classroom! Three years in 9th grade science and Advanced Placement Biology and 4 years in 7th grade Integrated Science.

Teaching style

My teaching style in inquiry based. I am moving my curriculum toward teaching from Phenomena and I embrace 3D learning and 3D assessments. I incorporate technology into projects but I also really appreciate and recognize how much kids want to actually "do" science and get up and investigate.
