My journey as the AVID Site Coordinator and AVID Elective teacher began in 2012. I also teach 6th and 7th-grade math using the Common Core Standards. Teaching style
I am a devoted believer that the person doing the talking is doing the learning. I am the AVID Site Coordinator for my school, which means I seek to provide rigor for all students by incorporating writing, inquiry, collaboration, organization, and reading into all assignments, otherwise known as "WICOR-izing" assignments.
