I am an international educator, who now lives in Minnesota. I have been an elementary teacher for fourteen years. I have taught in the United Stats as well as internationally. My most recent adventure was on an academic ship (Semester at Sea) affiliated with the University of Virginia. I traveled to 10 countries, and guided an amazing group of students through our journey.

An Introduction to Reader's Theater
The first out of a series of weekly reader's theater scripts. It provides a foundation for setting up this weekly practice in an elementary classroom. In addition to the reproducible student script, there is a teacher's script that highlights focus skills. Also included are; rubrics for teacher assessment, student reflection sheet, and a quiz to check for comprehension.

Teaching style
My teaching style may vary according to the situation. Early in the school year, I model quite a bit for my students. As we become more comfortable with one another I move into more of a facilitator role.
