I have taught 7-12 Math from Algebra to Calculus, at the college level, and currently teach the state math endorsement courses for the district elementary school teachers. I have also been a high school principal but had to move as my parents got ill and father had two heart attacks. I'm trying and hoping to once again get into administration but 100% love my teaching position and being math department chair.

Fractions Made Easy....They way students understand!
I generated this strategy when I was younger and couldn't do fractions. I teach this to my students in middle school, high school, and college and 99% of them love it and ask "why haven't we been shown this before?" This strategy works with any fraction problem and works best with equations. Most students cannot solve an equation with fractions. Give a fraction equation to them as a starter and most won't be able to do it until you show them this strategy! It's awesome and you will be shock
