The is the first map skills activity for this units and the remaining units that will be covered in the Ancient Civilizations Unit. The map focuses on the major geographical locations of the Fertile Crescent. It also incorporates the visual use of Google Earth to find and look at the current locations. Finally, the map skills asks the students to identify challenges and solutions to the problems that the geography of the landscape presented. This is Hand Out 2 of the unit.
