About the store
I have had 35 years of classroom experience. In that time I have taught grades two through six. I was a GATE Specialist for 13 years. In addition to my classroom experience I was a featured workshop presenter for various workshops, conventions and confrences. I also created and developed thematic core curriculum for the GATE program used in my district. Other areas of focus were being a Master Teacher, supervising and training student teachers and providing training and staff development to GATE personel.

Teaching style
I am a quick thinking teacher who encourages creative lessons, activities and learning experiences that provide students an excelent opportunity to dive deeper into content and learn from doing. My methods encourange students to generate, imporve and stretch their ideas and imaginations.
