Encourage your friends, family and students to refuse plastic bags by decorating their own beautiful up-cycled bag. This activity extends from the first Joined up-cycled bag project. In the first project I showed you how to organise the collection of sheets, table cloths etc and looked at ways to employ local people to make the bags. To decorate your bags I have used lino prints and stencils. An oil based printing ink or oil paint works well and ensures the bag can be washed.

Ease your community into change one step at a time. Water bottle Wednesday is a great way to encourage the community to begin thinking about the number of throw away water bottles they use in a day, week, month.....

So here we are in lockdown, surrounded by our belongings, family and pet. Designing and delivering online classes motivating our own children and those in our classes. So today, I was on my balcony and found a piece of string draped across it, I gave it a good pull hoping to reel in a kite ,but after some really good tugs, it just broke.
