About the store

This is my 23rd year as a special educator. Although currently an elementary special education teacher, I have taught middle school, junior high and high school. Along with teaching children of all ages, I have presented several training sessions for district and region educators.

After 18 years of teaching children with special needs, I have created various visual tasks. Included are 3 worksheets involving a matching format and color visuals (in 2 sizes) for flash cards. We cut out 2 sets of the signs and played match, "I have... Who has...?" and other simple games. Making several sets allows you to create patterns with pictures and count how many of each you have. Awards & shining teacher moments

Serving as department chairperson and on multiple leadership committees, has provided me opportunities to work along side some very amazing professionals. Being elected Teacher of the Quarter in 2010 and Teacher of the Year in 2012 are honors that continue to motivate me.

My own education history

I earned a Bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University Kingsville in 1995. I posses Texas educator certifications for Interdisciplinary Studies (grades 1-8), Special Education (all levels) and English as a Second Language.
