Before we enter debates or controversial topics. We address what a fallacy is. Search: Love is a Fallacy-- short story by Max Shulman. Use this worksheet to find recent earthquakes in the US and around the world. Using the USGS Tracking map-- students can find the most recent earthquakes. Some might even be near their areas! A very fun resource! This is a quick 10-15 minute assignment.
An easy to use downloadable version of the CDE science standards for middle school. You can then laminate them and post on the walls. I then often ask students to determine which standard we are working on.
These are notes to facilitate learning about genetics. Vocabulary and punnett square problem solving included. I use this with my 7th grade classes.
