About the store

Experience

I have been teaching junior high for the last 7 years. Presently, I teach special education REI or inclusion classes with general educators. I work with them in order for all students to be successful. I have also taught K-2 self-contained, 6-8 departmentalized language arts, and high school study skills.

Teaching style

I prefer to make my lessons as visually interesting and creative as I possibly can. I believe kids tend to pay attention more when they are given things that keep their eyes glued to it. The more creative the lesson, the more likely the concept will be mastered. Practice makes perfect as well, especially when they use different kinds of practice.
