Originally created for my history class, but could easily be modified for authors, characters, or even states or countries, etc. The file includes several templates that can be used for students to create trading cards. They can be used as an assignment, for homework, or for extra credit. They can then be used to self-quiz or with a partner/team for a review. There are four cards per sheet of paper, which can then be cut to make the "cards." Try printing on cardstock for a more durable card. Y

My students love the film, The Lost Battalion. It details the real life events of Major Whittlesey's battalion that was trapped in the Argonne Forest in France during WWI. Provides a brief description of some of the terms used in the film and questions to help students gain an understanding of the events. The film is usually on Netflix, so students can even do the assignment at home, over break, or for extra credit.
