Students work in groups to figure out the answer to the Monty Hall Problem (you know, from Let's Make A Deal.. 2 goats, 1 car... ) You will need cards for each group: 2 number cards for the goats, 1 face card for the car. Basic probability and converting (fraction, decimal, percent) as well as critical thinking and reflection. I highly recommend finding a good Let's Make A Deal or Monty Hall YouTube video to show as an introduction for the activity. BUT - don't reveal the answer ahead of time!!

Google Slides project for students. For each integer (6 total integers) students must complete 2 tasks: 1) Create context (a story) for the integer. 2) Create a number line graph of the integer and its opposite. Most of my students like to create their number lines in an app that's more user-friendly for drawing (like Sketches School) then insert their drawing onto the slide as an image. Editable in Word to change to your name and birthday (don't worry.. no years!). Fun bonus - look up birthday probabilities on YouTube. Your students (and you) might be surprised!!
