Probability activity: -tree diagrams -Fundamental Counting Principle -simple theoretical probability -critical thinking Students try to figure out the total number of the leprechaun's lucky lottery number possibilities and the probability of guessing it correctly. Could be done individually or in groups.

Then collecting, representing, analyzing, calculating data about M & M colors. *In case it's not obvious... you're going to need to provide M & M's for this to work. I have used 1 fun-sized bag per student or partner group; I have used 1 regular-sized pack per small group; I have also divided up BIG bags and distributed in cups or on napkins.
