My master's degree and initial certification is in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. I taught English language learners in Maryland public schools to mostly students with refugee status. Then I moved abroad and taught 1st grade in an international school. Prior to teaching, I tutored mathematics for a number of years with two companies, as well as privately.
