Experience

We have taught mathematics from 6th grade at undergraduate college levels during the last 33 years. We have served a wide range of socio-cultural backgrounds in Mexico and the United States, from private schools to a Title I public school in New Mexico.

Teaching style

Our approach to teaching mathematics connects students' prior knowledge with innovative ways of using technology, hands-on, and collaborative work. We integrate traditional tools with technology to enhance students' understanding and challenge them to look for different solutions to a problem. We provide meaningful resources for ELL and English native speakers.

My own education history

Marco holds a BS in Mechanical Industrial Engineering. He has a MA in Educational Leadership and MA in Administration. Laura held a BA in Business and MA in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Bilingual Education. Marco III holds degrees in Mathematics and Electrical Engineering.
