This is a research based project for students to gain knowledge on types of careers! It is something that students can be scaffolded into completing independently if they have 1:1 technology. This purchase includes a checklist of information for students to find. It also includes a rubric for the teacher to use to grade the assignment. Students will complete research, create a slideshow, and present to the class!

Weather and Climate HyperDoc

This is a hyperdoc that can be sent out to students with 1:1 technology. The students could also complete this in partners on technology. The content of this science hyperdoc is weather and climate. It is based off of the 4th grade South Carolina standards (SCCCR). Students will click the links in the document and be taken to various websites/videos. After watching the videos they may have to take a quiz and record their score, they may be asked to answer some questions in the document. User S

Teaching style

In fourth grade, it is always a challenge to give the students independence while still facilitating their learning. That is my end goal each year-- to be a facilitator of the learning. I want to hear more student talk and less of my own voice!
