I am an occupational therapist who has worked in a variety of schools and private therapy clinics since 2005. I have extensive experience with a wide range of students with varying developmental levels. As an occupational therapist I work with students to support their functioning in the classroom; whether it be to strengthen motor skills, support regulation, or help with self-care tasks. I often consult with schools and teachers to develop strategies to help students best access their curriculum. I am always exploring ways to best help my students!

Active Listening Desk Cards (great for distance learning!)
Students are required to listen and attend to a variety of directions throughout their day. These cards are designed to help student demonstrate specific listening behaviors. Listening is not just with the ears, it is with the WHOLE body. An active listener listens with a calm body, a quiet mouth, and a brain that is focused on the topic.
