Welcome to Let Them Think! I create engaging, ready-to-use resources for upper elementary and middle school classrooms that save teachers time and keep students thinking. With 16 years of classroom experience, I know how challenging it can be to find materials that are both meaningful and manageable. My resources are designed to be low-prep, high-impact, and flexible for real classrooms. My teaching style is rooted in hands-on, rigorous instruction that challenges students while keeping them actively involved in the learning process. I believe students learn best when content feels relevant, so I design resources that emphasize real-world application and critical thinking. You’ll also find opportunities for movement and student choice built into many activities, helping learners stay engaged and take ownership of their learning. Whether you’re looking for ready-to-use lessons, interactive activities, or creative ways to deepen understanding, my goal is to provide resources that save you time while making learning more dynamic, purposeful, and memorable for your students.

Over the course of my teaching career, I have been honored with several recognitions that reflect my commitment to student learning and instructional excellence. I have been named a building Master Teacher recipient three times, recognizing consistent high-quality instruction and impact within my school community. Early in my career, I was humbled to receive the Horizon Award during my first year of teaching, celebrating outstanding performance as a beginning educator. Additionally, I was selected as the Sunflower Ambassador Award recipient, a meaningful honor based on a student-nominated essay highlighting positive influence and connection in the classroom.

I completed my undergraduate studies at Kansas State University, where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and became certified to teach grades K–6. I later continued my professional growth by earning a Master’s degree from Baker University.

I have wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember, and that lifelong passion is truly at the heart of everything I do in the classroom. I love creating learning experiences that are engaging, meaningful, and connected to real life, and I feel grateful every day to do work that I care so deeply about. Outside of school, you can usually find me with a good book, planning my next trip to somewhere new, or enjoying time outdoors walking and hiking. Most of all, I love spending time with my family and making the everyday moments together count. I live in the Kansas City area—go Chiefs!—with my husband and son, and I really value the joy and balance that comes from a full life both inside and outside of the classroom.
