Teaching style

My teaching focus currently is on student engagement. I have recently been implementing the Building Thinking Classrooms strategies with my reluctant ELA learners. After teaching AP English Language and Composition for 23 years, I moved, changed schools, and now teach in a rural school with a much different dynamic. I feel like I need to learn how to teach all over again! Life long learning has taken on a new meaning as I try to reach my reluctant readers, writers, and learners.
