This worksheet that I made up is a paragraph written with no adjectives. The students can see how it can be "boring" and what a difference adjectives make. They then have to re-write the paragraph and add their own adjectives. These adjectives have to make sense. A teacher can use it as a quiz, (come up with their own number of adjectives to add and score accordingly) or a worksheet or homework. This has worked very well in my class. When your students are writing it is a great idea to have them fill this out. This way when they are writing, they can utilize a lot of this information to make a better writing. Teaching style
I deal with all sorts of students. Being that I work in an inner city school district I have all levels of students. The majority of my students also come from Spanish Speaking backgrounds. I am always having to come up with my own ideas and new tests/quizzes to have it fit my students needs. I also teach Special Education and even in my Special Education students ther eare varying needs of learners.
