About the store
Differentiation equals success for all. Not every student learns at the same rate and has the same abilities. Learning can occur at many different levels, and it is vital that all students grow as critical thinkers, problem solvers, and learners. I offer different levels of tasks and assessments to ensure success for all students and make myself available to help in any way possible. I will continue to research and create new and better ways of allowing my students to reach their full potential and am always seeking innovative ways to help students succeed in my classroom. Not only do I want them to be successful, but I want them to enjoy learning along the way.
I model the importance of education by constantly furthering my education as well. I am proud to have earned a marketing degree, an early childhood education degree, a middle grades education degree, a master’s degree in early childhood education, a specialist degree in curriculum and instruction, and my gifted endorsement.

Where do my Tax Dollars Go? - an activity on government spending
This is a follow up activity did after "Paycheck Percentages". In this activity, groups analyzed and discussed graphs and compared government spending in many areas. They then looked at wasteful government spending, included. Each group created an infographic on the most outrageous and wasteful spending by the government that was included in the booklet linked in this document. Proportional Persistence Board Game - Common Core Aligned
This is a board game covering 7th grade common core standards involving ratios, proportions, direct variations, constant of proportionality, percent change, percent discount, simple interest, and proportional relationships between x and y. The 36 game cards include computation problems, conceptual problems, and problem solving. This is an excellent way to review. My students LOVE this game!

Area and Circumference of Circles Test
This is a great way to determine if your students have mastered finding the area and circumference of a circle as well as applying these formulas in challenging situations. This 10 question test could also be used as part of a differentiated lesson.

Ratios and Proportional Relationships
This is a great resource for test prep, homework, warm ups, stations, task cards, or summer review packet. This is a power point presentation with the answers popping in for easy use, however you can select to print multiple slides onto a single page and make into a booklet. There are twenty five days of problems. Each day there are several problems.

This is a board game covering 7th grade common core standards involving rational numbers and operations with rational numbers. The game cards include computation problems, conceptual problems, and problem solving with rational reasoning. I use a variety of teaching strategies in my class. Projects, games, and interactive activities are just a few of the strategies I use. DIFFERENTIATION IS KEY!!!!

I taught in elementary and middle schools for 30 years. The last seven years I was instructional lead teacher. More recently, I have gotten certified as a behavior therapist working with autistic children.
This has lead me to write and publish books that I searched for and could not find.
